As a lover of language for over 30 years, it’s only logical that I would love literature and the power it holds to change lives. I live and breathe words and stories and my love of books is no exception. That’s why I am passionate about partnering with authors to take their publication and transform it for a new audience through literary translation.

Why is Literary Translation Important?
For an author who has invested their heart and soul into their book, it’s important that the meaning, tone and style of their writing is retained. This is why working with a professional literary translator can ensure that this type of work creates the same impact and intent in each language. Literary translation allows a multitude of publications to be enjoyed across the globe, not only creating enjoyment for readers, but also a deeper understanding of different cultures and countries. It helps shape a reader's understanding of the world, of history, politics, art, philosophy, and much more. It shapes the way people show up in the world, what passions they pursue and how they connect to their fellow humans. And it connects us to the past, gives us a glimpse into ancient worlds, old ways of thinking, patterns and lessons that can help us live better lives today.

The Marburg Files, original language: German
This last one, the Marburg Files, carried extraordinary weight and significantly affected how much we know about World War II history. The files disclosed information on a Nazis plot involving the Duke of Windsor and proved to be one of the most important pieces of translated literature of our time.
